MOTHER: Petal Acid. 30. Nurse. There was none, she died in childbirth. Deceased.

HISTORY: Petal Acid was a very sickly woman, but when she became pregnant with her first child, it seemed that her problems had been healed. She stopped coughing so hard that blood was coming up, and her immune system seemed to be healing. But when she was giving birth, her systems started to fail, and she had a heart attack. She died minutes after Luana was born, leaving her with a now bitter father that blamed her for his wife's death.
Miroku became a drunk after his wife's death, and lived a very poor life with Luana, beating her almost constantly, but never going further until she was the age of 7. She will never know what she did wrong, but her father took a knife to her, and cut her deep in her side, the entire length of it. She stumbled to her neighbor's house with blood still pouring from her side, and the caring mother of the family next door called 911.
Luana lied, said she had been sliding down the hill next to her tiny house when something glass must of cut her side up. Everyone believed her except for the family, who knew what Miroku was like, but kept their mouths shut. Miroku didn't dare coming to the hospital, and she had to walk home, limping and in extreme pain.
This continued, he kept beating her, and she kept quiet, until she had had enough. A little after she turned 11, in the middle of the night, she checked to make sure her father was passed out on the couch, before grabbing the small gasoline can and making a circle around him. She got a match from the matchbook on the table, and lit it before running out, and away.
At this age, she was a known genius, and she had showed it obviously to anyone that would listen. She skipped grades like crazy, because she seemed to alreayd know everything that was being taught in all of the classes. The only grade she really lived out was senior year, where she was the weird one. She graduated, and got a full ride to a prestigous college, and attended there on the full scholarship.
2 years later, when she was 13, she met a boy, the same age as her, at that college. He asked her out on a date, but she hesitated, not trusting him. It took Indi two years to get her to finally accept, but when they got to the restaurant, all they did was argue about quantum physics. But she knew he was perfect for her, and she continued to date him.
When they were 18, Indi figured out how to convert mammals semi-perfectly, and have them survive. At the time, Luana found it the most interesting thing to be heard of, which she later changed that she hated that she had participated in the research. The broke for a while, and she started to to work on how to change mechanicals back to people.
Now at the age of 21, she's back with Indi, still arguing almost constantly with him, completely in love, and working on ending the war.
