STYLE: Being a known associate of the President, he is normal dressed in very formal clothing. Though never a suit unless actually talking to the President himself or someone else important. If he is trying to hold back some of the Cyborgs, he will be wearing what most everyone else is. Army gear. His hair is sometimes slicked back, but is usually just kept short. When he gets mad, his eyes become a deeper blue, but never much deeper than cobalt. His hair is a normal blonde shade, but sometimes looks a little bit darker.

He is a really patriotic guy. All he cares about is his country and family. He doesn't care who gets hurt in the process. He believed deeply about Manifest Destiny. He thinks Cyborgs were created to be a weapon against other countries, except for his little Lucy. She is the only one who can make his heart melt, but since she is a Cyborg he will not let her outside. Other than Lucy and his Wife, he only cares about work and protecting Washington D.C. and the rest of the world against the horrible Cyborgs.

HISTORY: Bayard was born to John and Annabelle Synan on July 4th. He was a blessing, as they thought that they could not children. John was the Head Of Defense when Bayard was born, and thought that his son would continue the legacy (John's father, too, was the Head Of Defense). Bayard grew up like any other boy. He went to a special private school in Washington D.C. He met Nichol here. Her family was also directly linked to the President, so as they grew up together they might as well have been arranged to marry. It is uncertain if they ever really did fall in love, but they did get married when they turned 18.
They were both 21 when they had Lucy, a beautiful daughter. Around the same time, Bayard was getting further and further 'up the ladder' in the military, and was only a few steps away from being Head of Defense. He eventually got this, and was told everything about the Cyborgs and other secrets from the Government. He had meetings all of the time with the President, and didn't get to see his daughter or wife much. But when his daughter was shot in her High School, he begging for them to make her into a Cyborg. How could he loose his baby? So, without consent from Nichol, they did it. Nichol was insanely mad at Bayard, but happy in a way that she got to see her baby again.
In the same year, the Cyborgs rebelled. A few of the militaries finest leaders were picked to help defend mainly the White House, Bayard picked as their leader. Bayard was very smug about this. He was a very good pick, too, as he did hold them off of all of D.C. It was his idea for the Fences, and they seemed to be working quite well so far. Bayard, though, keeps Lucy locked in his home, for the fear that she would join the rebellion. He knows that he may have to kill some Cyborgs, and he doesn't want Lucy to be one of them.
